Ring / Ring Lotus flower engraved with a sutra
the sutra is considered a symbol of Wisdom.
The Lotus flower symbolizes it, the purity of heart and mind as well asspiritual fulfillment.
The Lotus:
It is a beautiful plant that grows in marshy and muddy environments which represents the possibility for all humans to reach enlightenment regardless of their starting environment. The lotus draws its beauty from the darkness of the vase, which makes a reference to the Buddha who decided to give up his life as a prince after seeing old age and the death of his eyes.
The lotus plant can symbolize the path to enlightenment:
• roots, purely material and under the surface of the water.
• leaves that open with the day above the surface of the water.
• finally the majestic flower which emerges in the heart and which could be assimilated to enlightenment.
The engraved sutra means:
THE HEART OF PRAJNA PARAMITA SUTRA
"When Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara practiced the deep Prajna Paramita, he illuminated the five Skandhas and saw that they were all empty, then he went beyond all suffering and difficulty. Shariputra, the form does not differ from emptiness, emptiness does not differ from form. The form itself is emptiness, emptiness itself is form. Also they are feeling, cognition, training and consciousness. Shariputra, all Dharmas are empty of characteristics. They are not produced, destroyed, defiled, or pure. Therefore, in emptiness, there is no form, feeling, cognition, training or consciousness, no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body or mind, no sight, sound, smell, touch, or Dharmas, no field of eyes up to and including no awareness of field of mind , and no ignorance or end of ignorance, until and including not old age and death or the end of old age and death. There is no suffering, no accumulation, no extinction, no Way, no understanding and no achievement, because nothing is achieved.
The Bodhisattva by relying on Prajna Paramita is free in his mind. Because there is no impediment, he is not afraid, and he leaves the distorted thought of dreams far behind him. All Nirvana! All the Buddhas of the three periods reach Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi by relying on Prajna Paramita. "
According to Buddhist culture: Prajna Paramita is a great spiritual mantra, a great luminous mantra, a supreme mantra, an unmatched mantra. Who can remove all suffering, it is authentic.
